„A tam żyją smoki: o średniowiecznych potworach i ich długich żywotach” „And there be dragons: medieval monsters and their long afterlife”
On Thursday 13th March our students had a chance to participate in an unique lecture about mythical creatures that are believed to have existed in the past. It took place in a multimedia room in our school and was given by a lecturer from English Philology of UAM
in Poznan (mgr Joanna Ludwikowska- Leniec). A group of students gathered there to listen to the lecture conducted in English. We heard a lot about creatures such as unicorns, manticores, mermaids, dragons, shape-shifters and many more. During the lesson we could answer some questions and share our thoughts with schools in Krzesiny, Swarzędz and Leszno, which also took part in this event. At the end of the lecture, we also had a chance to ask about doubtful cases, however it seems like our students prefer to listen rather than speak
